Students and parents invited to free personal finance experience

Interactive event allows attendees to practice “living” on a budget

What: Baltimore County Public Schools students ages 12 and up and their parents are invited to a free Junior Achievement Personal Finance Experience presented by OneMain Financial, in collaboration with BCPS Parent University. At the interactive event, families will learn more about personal finance as students are assigned careers and salaries and then must work to stay on budget and save as they make money choices about housing, food and other day to day expenses.  Registration is not needed and prizes, giveaways and refreshments will be available.

 

When: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturday, November 15, 2014
